COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Computer technician program consists of 144 hours of training, divided into four (4) independent modules of 36 hours each, which cover Computer Assembly, Software Analysis and Diagnostics, Computer Support & Maintenance, and Certification Preparation. Upon successful completion of the program the student will be prepared to take thee A+ Certification Exam.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
The Computer Technician Program will prepare the student for jobs in the personal computer industry involving installation, upgrading and servicing personal computer systems and computer networks. The student will learn to diagnose computer malfunctions, perform troubleshooting techniques, resolve PC problems, describe printers, notebook computers and electronics, implement preventive maintenance, recognize how software and hard work together, integrate systems resources with various operating systems, understand each section
of the A+Exam, learn the proper way to answer technical questions, and be able to apply the topics learned to use in real life scenarios. Upon successful completion of the program and meeting course and program requirements to include all financial obligations the graduate
will be issued a diploma.
